A Curator's Egg is a Sunless Skies Story Event.
Story description[]
One of your crew dons their thermal sky-suit and steps out into the cold. After a few minutes they return, clutching an object that looks uncomfortably like a large wasp nest. "Reckon it's a Curator's Egg," they say, carefully handing it to you. It looks delicate, but has a heft to it, as if something dense is nestled beneath all the papery outer layers.
