The Martyr-King's Cup
Equipment piles up around you: rulers, magnifying glasses, protractors. A crucial part of the Chamberlain's code is the size of the letters and the distance between them. This is the key, though entire sections of journal are written in red-herring gibberish.
The central subject is something called the 'Martyr-King's Cup', which holds the key to immortality – though why one of the Deathless would need such an object, you couldn't speculate. He writes that to find the Cup one must first speak to the Unseen Queen, who has been 'exiled to nowhere'. Despite this, she can apparently also be found in the junk-heaps below London.

You can hear the clatter of the crew getting out of bed. Bacon is sizzling, kettles are whistling. Your stomach demands action.

That can't be right
As you walk to the kitchen, you notice moonlight streaming through the open window. Something about this should be odd, but you can't quite pinpoint what.
You peer out, breathing in the crisp evening air. You are greeted by the sight of sweeping forests, looming mountains, the twinkling lights of a village. No, there's nothing unusual here. You duck your head back inside, and continue making your way to the banquet hall.
