Below Stairs at the Half-Light Masque is a Sunless Skies Story Event.
Story description[]
The areas below stairs are part like the kitchen of a grand country house, and part like a factory floor. Cooks prepare food in enormous pots, servants appear with empty plates to be scraped off and cleaned, even while others carry steaming dishes upstairs. Further back are rows upon rows of hour-looms, each tended by weavers with their hair pinned tightly back. The heat of the cooking combines with the shudder of machinery in pandemonium.
