The Dendrified Vagabond[]
You've planted him in his cabin in a large clay pot. Below the waist, he is a maggot-white tree; one of his arms is a sagging, leafless branch. The wood that constitutes his body is dead. He has no need for water.
He spends most of his days unmoving and alone; the crew have heard rumours about what he has done, and revile him for it.
When you visit, he is pathetically grateful.
