Actions Requirements Effects Notes
Search the locomotive for valuables
What have they stolen from the sleeping dead? Anything valuable will have been carefully concealed; you'll need to think like a grave-robber.
Failed event Advanced alteration value probably needs examination.

Et in arcadia ego
You search turns up an array of valuables retrieved from the dead. Cuff-links and brooches. Rings (wedding, engagement, signet, and ear). Tie-pins and hair-pins. Gold-rimmed spectacles and silver-plated belt buckles. You also find a cupboard full of skulls. Memento mori for the death-haunted aristocracy of Albion.
Successful event
The shrouds of the dead
The small hold has been turned into a meat-locker. Within, corpses are strapped to tables. You close the door and look elsewhere. A false compartment contains fabrics torn from the dead. Winding sheets and burial gowns and Sunday best. You take the most obviously expensive.
Investigate the bodies
A cabin has been packed with gravelly sky-ice to keep it cold. Corpses hang from a rail.
Failed event

Game note: Gain unusual items.

Nature's lament
You open a barred door to find a frozen cabin. The windows have been shattered, exposing it to the heavens' cold in an attempt to preserve a set of cadavers: two young, two older – perhaps a family? A set of bell-jars, filled with murky oil, contain organs.
Successful event
As you are, so were we
A cabin has been opened to the cold; for the better preservation of the dead. The Resurrectionists keep their handful of corpses admirably catalogued. The old dangle with the old; the young hang with the young. A neat logbook records their provenance, and items collected.
Strip it for parts
The Resurrectionists are equipped with reinforced plating to better weather the ire of Albion's Dreadnoughts.
Mors Vincit Omnia
Grave-robbers are loathed throughout Albion, and your engineers set to their task with zeal.
