Learning about the Incognito Princess is the personal quest of the Incognito Princess. Completing it will have consequences for all future captains in your lineage.

Guide[]
To begin the quest, talk with the Incognito Princess aboard your engine. She will request a visit to Perdurance to find Something New.

1. Perdurance[]
You may now experience With the Princess, Below Stairs at Perdurance while participating in the Half-Light Masque. Any Chief Engineer Officer (the Incautious Driver, The Rat Brigade, or the Felined Eccentric) can get you below stairs. Otherwise, you must perform a Veils challenge (58 for 100%). Failure will still advance the quest, though you will be ejected from the Half-Light Masque.

The Princess will gain an Analytical Suitor from this excursion.
2. Worlebury-juxta-Mare[]
Talk with the Incognito Princess aboard your engine to learn she now seeks Something Blue at Worlebury-juxta-Mare, then enter Alcoholics and Melancholics while inside Worlebury. If you have Affiliation: Bohemia at 3 or more, you can get in for free. Otherwise, you must attempt a Veils or Iron challenge. Failure will still advance the quest, but will have other consequences.

Afterwards, you may optionally choose to linger and eavesdrop on the Princess. This is not recommended, as it will cost you a point of Hearts.

The Princess will gain a Poetical Suitor from this excursion. Talk to the Princess again to learn your next task: She now seeks Something Old from Eleutheria, and Something Borrowed from the devils at Carillon. You can do these in any order.
3. Eleutheria[]
Ask the Measurer to help the Princess during A Meeting at the Crossroads. The Princess will then direct you to Piranesi.

4. Carillon[]
Before proceeding, you will need the souls of 3 Chorister Bees. You can obtain them after killing Chorister Bees with the Princess aboard. Once you have them, have a Discussion with the Presiding Deviless to forge a ring for the Princess.
5. The Most Serene Mausoleum[]
After you have completed both tasks, talk to the Princess aboard your engine to learn she wishes to visit Albert's tomb in The Most Serene Mausoleum. You must pay to get inside. Both methods lead to Heart of Empire.

6. Well of the Wolf[]
Talk to the Princess aboard your engine to learn she plans to marry the devil residing in the Well of the Wolf. Travel there to attend A Memorable Wedding. You can throw the ring in the Well to kill the Princess and end the quest, or you can give her the ring to continue it. If you give her the ring, you will lose the Incognito Princess but gain The Shed Skin of the Incognito Princess, and may then choose from one of three options to gain an additional reward.

Conclusion[]
Interact with the Shed Skin and decide what to do with it. Your choice will determine which promotion you obtain.
- Give the skin to the Poetical Suitor to gain the Poetical Princess.
- Give the skin to the Analytical Suitor to gain the Analytical Princess.
Alternatively, you can choose to inter the skin in Piranesi for a Crimson Promise, but this will permanently remove the Princess from the game.
Regardless of outcome, you will gain 4000 Experience.
