Supplies are a common cargo item and are essential for surviving in the High Wilderness. Supplies are used continously while traveling the Skies. Whenever the current Supply crate is empty, your crew automatically opens another from your hold. The current amount of supplies left is indicated in the UI by the green bar.

Running low or out[]
When your crew opens the last Supply crate from your Hold, they get anxious. If you don't get them under control (Hearts Challenge), they will make trouble.
If you run out of supplies, your crew begins to starve. One by one they will perish, and you can decide what is mightier - the moral obligation to give your fallen a proper burial in the skies, or the hunger...
When your last crewmember dies, you die with them.
