Tackety Scouts are the primary locomotive fielded by the Tacketies in The Reach.

Description

Tackety Scouts are small, fast-moving locomotives. Their shoody construction results in a fragile hull rating of just 70. Although flimsy, their frontal gun is moderately powerful. Their haphazard movement pattern also makes it challenging to land hits on them. Scouts often travel in pairs, making combat a risky affair: attacking one will result in having to fight both. In combat, Tackety Scouts prefer the tactic of keeping its distance. Tackety Scouts can occasionally be found patrolling outside New Winchester or fighting Enduring Dreadnoughts, sometimes in groups of two or more. Unless the player have very low Reputation: The Tacketies, they are initially neutral to the player until fired upon.
