Story description[]
The attendant (and they are just an attendant) bears a striking resemblance to the departed general, augmented with cosmetics. The jawline is uncanny. The 'General' makes one crucial mistake. They lean forward to take your hand with their left. You know for a fact the war hero was right handed. The 'General' sighs, noticing your scrutiny. "Ah. D__n. This is a new role for me. Don't suppose I can ask you to keep mum? A lie can be more useful than the truth, especially where morale is concerned."
